Seasonal Position: April 12 - September 30, 2025
Salary: $15.00-$18.00 /hour, 36-45 hours per week + bonuses
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 yrs or older
Enthusiasm for outdoor water recreation
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Computer skills that include Microsoft Office suite of programs
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and access to reliable transportation
High School diploma or GED.
The ideal candidate should be capable of continuous physical activity and enjoy the outdoors as this position requires staff to be stationed outdoors for their entire shift.
General knowledge of boating safety is preferred but the necessary training will be provided.
Applicant should possess excellent communication skills and able to work through and resolve conflict in a positive, nonbiased manner.
Desired But Teachable Qualifications:
Prior watercraft handling and inspection experience - We will provide necessary training.
Prior education and/or customer service experience
Prior experience towing and backing up trailers
Knowledge of federal and state statutes, rules, and policies
Responsibilities:
Works directly with the business owner.
The WOS will be responsible for the daily operations of the marina and lakefront facility, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of all watercraft which includes 15 jet skis, 12 kayaks, 4 canoes, 4 pedal boats and 12 paddle boards.
Supervise, train and motivate the staff of 7 with the assistance and support of the business owner.
Ensure guest and staff safety and security at all times.
Oversees day to day operation (which includes but is not limited to) opening & closing duties, proper rental of watercraft, cash out of collected daily funds.
Assist the business owner with staff scheduling.
Maintain proper record keeping by following established procedures.
Basic watercraft maintenance - ensure that equipment is clean and in good working order.
Maintain respectful communications with guests.
Able to work independent and comfortable making important decisions based on weather and safety considerations.
Weekly de-brief with the business owner.
Summary:
The WOS should be enthusiastic, motivated. Must be capable of leading and working with groups of all ages including kids, pre-teens, adults and seniors. Flexibility, a pleasant personality, good organizational skills and outstanding customer service. Applicant must be able to walk, run, stand, stoop, kneel, lift up to 40 pounds, speak English clearly, and be able to see and hear. regulations.
Experience operating the type of watercraft you want to teach.
Knowledge of safety procedures and relevant regulations.
Teaching experience or the ability to clearly communicate instructions.

Summary:
You will be responsible for teaching our customers everything they need to know about how to safely operate a Jet ski or paddle craft with a fun, friendly disposition and safety as your top priority. Responsibilities:
Handling phone calls which will include answering questions, taking reservations, giving directions, etc.
You will be responsible for greeting customers and answering questions with a positive, friendly attitude as our first
point of contact at CDWS.
You will be responsible for checking customers in, ensuring that all required paperwork is properly filled out and
signed, and assisting them with training materials.
Maintaining the reservation process.
This position calls for excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Processing payments (cash, credit, debit) for rentals of watercraft, accessories, and other items.
Assisting with supply inventory and ordering.
Ensuring that the area is organized and tidy
